Feature Product Post and a Giveaway!!!

Hi all it's that time again and our Featured Product is.............FLOWER SOFT!!!! So scroll down and see how you can win it..............sorry but today's post is going to be a quick one, I have just been really busy lately....but I will give you a little bit of how I made this card at the end of the post, but it won't be a step by step this time..........so onto today's post........I hope you enjoy my Birday Card...........

Stamps: Stampendous Cling Bird Day

Ink: Momento Rich Cocoa

Misc.: Flower Soft- Nut Brown, Bright Blue, Baby Blue, Black & Ultra Fine Black, Craft & Glitz Bronze Glitter, Scor-Pal 5" Scor Tape, Seam Binding Ribbon & Distress Stain Weathered Wood



So this is how I used the Flower Soft.....I applied the scor-tape to the cardstock and then die cut it. For the branch I used the brown and a little bit of the black Flower Soft on the adhesive side, making sure to pat the flower soft into the adhesive. Now, for the bird....I used my exacto knife and just cut into the top layer of the backing on the scor-tape to expose the feet and beak of the bird, then I applied the Ultra Fine Black to them. Then I did the same to create a belly for the bird then applied the baby blue, finishing off with the bright blue for the rest of the bird. I love how it looks, the bird is just sooo cute! You will find if you use the scor-tape that some areas won't fill in, just make sure that you pat it down and add more Flower Soft. So for the Fleur De Lis Frame I did the same with the Scor-Tape and the cardstock, except after I applied the nut brown, I added glitter over top........it shows up really well in person, but not so much in the picture. Well that's pretty much it for this card......the rest is just putting it together. I hope you all get your flower soft out and start playing!!!! So until next time..................
