Dream Forever & Live for Today!!!

Hi all, it's time for another post........I hope you've all seen some of the amazing new products that have come in at Scrapbooker's Paradise!!! One of the new lines that we are carrying are the Heartfelt Creations line of Stamps and Dies, You can check out the whole line here, these are amazing stamps and dies and of course I couldn't resist buying a few........okay, well actually alot of them.....lol.......so I figured I would do a card using them. I hope you like it!!!

Products Used

Cardstock: Blue, Dark Brown, Beige & K & Company Julianne Designer Paper 6"x6" Pad

So this card was fairly easy to put together.....I layered the brown cardstock and the designer paper added the crocheted lace to the middle and then adhere it onto the blue card base. Die cut 2 of the fancy corners and centered them on the front. Now, stamp the butterfly on the designer paper and cut it out with the die. I thought that the body of the butterfly needed a little something, so I added the brushed corduroy distress stickles to it and set it aside to dry, actually I found it took too long to dry, so I speeded up the drying time with my heat gun.....I'm a little impatient when it comes to waiting for things to dry......lol....just remember, that you can only use the heat tool on the distressed stickles, not on the regular stickles!

Okay now where was I? Oh yeah.....so then I stamped the sentiment, cut it out with the Labels 4 die and also die cut one out of the blue cardstock. Inked around the sentiment and cut the blue one in half and adhered it behind. Pop dotted this to the center of the card and I also pop dotted the butterfly. Added the pearls and that's pretty much it for this card. So I guess that's all till next time........I hope you all have a great week!!!

It's Time for Another Playing in Paradise Challenge!!!

So it's that time again, are you ready to play along with us? This time Carla wanted us to Scraplift her colours, technique and layout........so below is Carla's adorable card............

And here's my take on it.......................I also did a baby card, as I felt our new Best Creations Safari Boy line would fit perfectly with the challenge!!! Also this card has no stamping on it........can you believe that!! This has to be a first for me :)

Products Used:
Cardstock: Light Blue, Mint Green & Best Creations Safari Boy 6"x6" Paper Pad

So this is a really quick and easy card to do, but I love how it turned out and if you haven't all ready you really need to check out all the awesome papers by Best Creations!!! They have some beautiful papers and their glitter papers are to die for!!! The nice thing about their glitter papers is the glitter does not come off and the colours are amazing.

So onto how I made my card........basically everything is cut out using the Spellbinders and Sizzix dies.........then I used the Sweet Baby Boy saying in the 6"x6" Paper pad and pop dotted it over the Labels 17 die cuts. I used the Smooch Accent ink around the striped circle and the labels 17 die cut, to look like stitching. Added the buttons and the pearls to the card and that's it!!! Well, I hope you all enjoyed my card!!!

Now you really have to check out what the Creative Challenge Team has done:

Feature Product Post and Another Giveaway!!!

Hi all, it's that time again.......who wants to win a free product??? Well scroll down to the end of my post and I will tell you all about it! So we were able to choose a Ranger product for this Feature Post, so I choose the Ranger White Gloss Paper and Sara choose the Ranger Glossy Accents...........

So here's my project for our Feature Product Post..........

Products Used

Cardstock: Ranger White Gloss Paper, Purple, Orange & Pink Paislee 6"x6" Hocus Pocus Paper Pad
Inks: Ranger Black Archival Ink, Tim Holtz Distress Inks- Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold, Milled Lavender & Dusty Concord, Clearsnap Smooch Accent Inks-Lettuce, Banana Custard, Sundance, Green Apple & Sweet Melon

So here's a little bit on how I made this.......I used the purple cst for the card and layered it with the Hocus Pocus paper.......yep, I used the halloween line!!! I love the colours in this line, so I thought they went great with the card. So now I used the brayer on the white gloss paper oval and brayered all 4 distress inks, then I stamped it with the Lily stamp and coloured it all in with the smooch accent inks. Gotta love those smooch inks......they are awesome!!! I used the border punch twice and layered them, then added the rhinestones with the I-Rock tool. Brayered then stamped and punched out the sentiment, adding a little more bling with my I-Rock tool.

That's pretty much it for this card......So I guess you want to know what the giveaway is......................

Just a Note Card

Hi all.......it's time for another blog post!!! I bought this stamp awhile ago and actually did the card up, but I ended up getting sidetracked with some of the new products we got in.......lol........so anyways, here is the card I made...........

I love this stamp.......there's soo much you can do with it!!! It comes with 3 sayings, but you can put anything on the typewriter paper. So onto the product list and a little info on how I put this together.......

Products Used
Cardstock: White, Metallic Bronze & 7 Gypsies 8"x8" Paper Pad-Lilie
Inks: Momento Tuxedo Black Ink, Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Fired Brick & Brushed Corduroy

I really love the Hero Arts stamps, they have so many awesome stamps to choose from and these two are no exception......the dictionary sayings are great to add to the background of your card or layout. Well enough rambling onto how I put this together........

I use the Lillie paper on the front of the card and I inked and distressed the edges. Then I stamped it with the friend dictionary saying twice and tore a couple of strips, inked them and added them to the front. I stamped the typewriter onto the white cst and cut it out using the Labels 17 die and inked around it with both distress inks. I cut out the metallic cst with the Labels 17 die and adhered them together. Now, I stamped just the paper part again and cut it out, stamped the saying and used the brushed corduroy around the edges and pop dotted it over the paper, so it looks like it's coming out of the typewriter. It's really hard to see in the photo, but it really does look like it's coming out of the typewriter :) Then I added the ribbon and bow.......voila all finished!!! so that's it for this time..........I hope you enjoyed my post............see you again soon!!!

Head on over to Scrapbooker's Paradise and do some shopping, while your there check out all the new products that have come in and there's many more coming in!!!

A Cuppa Tea Set

Hi all, well I was enjoying the warm weather we were having.....lol....now it's getting somewhat colder, but it's supposed to warm up again near the end of the week........yahoo!!! I have something a little different to show you this time.........we got in this new Hot Off The Press template.......I thought it would be neat to show you how it turns out when it's all done.....it does take a little bit of time to do but the results are worth it!!! I hope you all enjoy my post............

So here's a pic of the template that I used.....

And now on to the pics of the set................

Here's a close up of the tea cup, which opens at the top and you can put a gifty inside............

And here's the matching envelope and tea bag gift card.................

Love this set, it's just sooo cute..........I used the gold embossing powder for pretty much everything.....lol......it just reminds me of all the tea sets my grandma had and most of them were trimmed with the gold. I used the template and cut the pieces out of the Tim Holtz paper and the dusty rose cardstock, did some embossing........well actually lots of embossing........lol...... I added a flower, lace and some bling to the Tea Bag card. For the spoon I embossed it all in gold embossing powder and added some of the glossy accents and crystal EP to the spoon, hopefully it looks like sugar!!! I did add the crystal EP to the top of the cup as well. Other than doing some stamping and embossing of course, that's pretty much it for this set. So here's what I used for products.
