So I thought that I would use our new Imaginisce Happy Harvest line.......I love the colours in this line and the papers are just amazing!!! So I decided to do some paper piecing and did little Philip with some of the papers from this line and I also used my copic markers on him as well, then I fussy cut all of it! I stamped the park bench and used my copics on that and fussy cut it as well. The rest is just some layering.....okay maybe lots of layering.....:)....I also die cut the border from the Parisian Accents set and weaved the sheer ribbon through it. I used the Swirling leaves stamp and stamped it on the cst multiple times and then coloured it in with my copics. Stamped the sentiment and like I said......some....oops, I mean lots of layering!!! Well that's pretty much it for this card, I hope you all enjoyed it!!!

So here's my card:

Isn't she adorable..........

Products Used
Cardstock: Purple, Pink and Prima 6"x6" Paper Pad-Sweet Fairy

So, I embossed the purple card base with Kassie's Brocade. Then I cut out the Prima patterned paper with the Labels 17 die and did the same for the pink cardstock, except I cut that in half diagonally, adhered them to the card. Now, I coloured the Birgetta stamp in with my copics and spicas, then cut her out and pop dotted her over the Labels die cuts. Added the pearl flourishes, then I cut the flowers out with the Tattered Florals die and coloured them and the rose with my copics and added some of the rock candy to them. Stamped the sentiment on the pink cst and pop dotted that. So that's it for this card......I hope you all like it!!!

Feature Product Post and Another Giveaway!!!

Hi all, it's that time again.......who wants to win a free product??? Well scroll down to the end of my post and I will tell you all about it! So we were able to choose a Ranger product for this Feature Post, so I choose the Ranger White Gloss Paper and Sara choose the Ranger Glossy Accents...........

So here's my project for our Feature Product Post..........

Products Used

Cardstock: Ranger White Gloss Paper, Purple, Orange & Pink Paislee 6"x6" Hocus Pocus Paper Pad
Inks: Ranger Black Archival Ink, Tim Holtz Distress Inks- Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold, Milled Lavender & Dusty Concord, Clearsnap Smooch Accent Inks-Lettuce, Banana Custard, Sundance, Green Apple & Sweet Melon

So here's a little bit on how I made this.......I used the purple cst for the card and layered it with the Hocus Pocus paper.......yep, I used the halloween line!!! I love the colours in this line, so I thought they went great with the card. So now I used the brayer on the white gloss paper oval and brayered all 4 distress inks, then I stamped it with the Lily stamp and coloured it all in with the smooch accent inks. Gotta love those smooch inks......they are awesome!!! I used the border punch twice and layered them, then added the rhinestones with the I-Rock tool. Brayered then stamped and punched out the sentiment, adding a little more bling with my I-Rock tool.

That's pretty much it for this card......So I guess you want to know what the giveaway is......................

Toonie Thursday January 13th At Scrapbooker's Paradise Red Deer

Just a quick post.........I actually forgot to post this earlier....so I thought I would share it now......here's what we did for the Toonie Thursday at the Red Deer Store on Thursday!!!! I think I'm addicted to the sticky backed canvas, it's just so much fun to work with and there's so much you can do with it!!!! Okay......enough talking, onto the card I did............

So the flourish is from Hero Arts and is stamped onto the canvas with Versamark ink and then embossed with clear EP, then I sprayed it with some Tattered Angels glimmer mists, English Ivy and Sugar Plum Fairy. I was amazed that the EP didn't melt into the canvas, but it created this amazing look.......the card itself was cut out using the Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Squares, I added a little bit of ribbon then a sentiment from C.C. Designs-Sassy Sentiments Set..........gotta love those sentiments!!! Well that's it for this time.............till next time, have a great weekend!!!
